Click For Charity: A Compilation of Ways to Raise Money for Charities at No Cost to You

Every time you view a website, someone makes between $.01-$2 off advertising! Usually the money goes to the site owner, but certain charitable sites will donate all or part of the money to charity. Below is a compilation of credible sites that raise large amounts of money for charity:

  • The Hunger Site – Click to give daily! There are also clickers for Breast Cancer, Child Health, Literacy, Rainforest, and Animal Rescue.
  • FreeRice – Learn vocab and feed the hungry. Link directs you to a previous post about FreeRice.
  • Care 2 – Click to help causes like: Global Warming, Rainforest, Seals, Oceans, Big Cats, Primates, Impoverished Children, Pets, Nonviolence, and Breast Cancer!
  • Five For Fighting – A band that makes songs for various causes. The site is down currently (UPDATE: The site is up and running!), but once it is back up you should be able to watch videos and donate $.49-$1 each view to a related charity (only one per IP address per video). Be sure to send interesting videos to friends!
  • Poverty Fighters – Poverty Fighters distributes microcredit to people below the poverty line to allow them to establish a self-sustaining business or source of income. Limit two clicks a day.
  • SolvePoverty.com A site that raises 5 euro cents (~.077 US dollars) every time you click. Only one click per day.
  • GoodSearch – Chances are you search the web at least once a day. With GoodSearch every time you search they donate all the ad revenue (a little over 1 cent per search) to the charity of your choice. You can even add it to your internet browser’s toolbar ! GoodSearch uses yahoo to search, so your results are perfectly valid. You can also GoodShop , which donates 1%-35% of your purchase to your charity!

Let’s do some good!
