All of Google’s tools can be found here. Below I have summarized what tools google has to offer, and my recommendations of which programs to use.
- Find what you’re looking for on the web. Click the type of content that you are searching for: Video, Books, Scholarly Articles, Blogs, News, Patents, and Places. Then try using Google Notebook to organize and save your search results.
- Explore with Google Labs. Follow the previous link to access beta versions Google’s latest projects. For starters, try, Google Mars, Lively by Google (this is cool), and Google Experimental Search.
- Create with some of google’s newest tools. Make your own site for free, no HTML skills required, on Google Sites. Edit photos and create online albums with Picasa. Also try creating online documents and calendars. For fun, download Google’s SketchUp, a professional grade 3D planning software.
